OET (OET-LV) And_they_will_receive the_kingdom the_holy_ones_of the_Most_High and_they_will_take_possession_of the_kingdom until the_ages and_unto (the)_perpetuity_of (the)_perpetuities.
OET (OET-RV) but the dedicated followers of the highest one will receive the kingdom, and they will take possession of the kingdom forever.
Daniel had a vision of four beasts on earth and of God on his throne in heaven. One of the heavenly beings explained to Daniel that the four beasts represented four earthly kingdoms.
While still in a dreamlike state, Daniel asked about the meaning of what he had seen. God’s servant briefly explained to Daniel the meaning of his dream. He gave a summary of what the vision symbolized.
But the saints of the Most High will receive the kingdom
But then/afterwards the people who belong to God Most High will receive from him authority/power over the kingdom,
But finally God Most High will give his holy people the authority to rule his kingdom.
But the saints of the Most High will receive the kingdom: The Aramaic phrase that the BSB translates as receive the kingdom refers to receiving power to rule. It is implied that the holy people (saints) will receive this power from God. Here are some other ways to translate this:
But the holy people who belong to the Most High God will receive the power to rule
But the Most High God will give to his people the kingly authority
But the holy people of the Most High will be given the kingdom (NLT)
But: The common Aramaic conjunction that the BSB translates as But here introduces a contrast to the previous verse part. Although the four beasts would rule in turn, finally God’s people will rule. Here is another way to translate this:
But in the end (CEV)
the saints of the Most High: The phrase the saints of the Most High is more literally “the holy ones of the Most High.” It means “the holy people who belong to God.”
the saints: The Aramaic text says “the holy ones.” These people are called saints because they are devoted to God and belong to him.
will receive the kingdom: The Aramaic word that the BSB translates as the kingdom here refers to the right and power to rule. Here is another way to translate this:
will receive the kingly power (REB)
and possess it forever—yes, forever and ever.’
and they will possess/keep it for all time, forever and ever.”
They will rule there for all time, yes, for all ages to come.”
and possess it forever—yes, forever and ever: God’s holy ones will always possess the kingdom. That is, they will always have authority to rule. Here are some other ways to translate this:
and will take possession of the kingdom forever and ever (NET)
and kingship will be theirs for ever, for ever and ever (NJB)
and keep it for ever and ever (GW)
and they will rule forever and ever (CEV)

Alternate translation: “and they will rule over the kingdom”

וְעַ֖ד עָלַ֥ם עָלְמַיָּֽא
and=unto forever_of of_(the),perpetuities
This repetition of ideas emphasizes that this kingdom will never come to an end.
7:18 The holy people (also in 7:21-22, 25, 27) are people who belong exclusively to God and share his character. In Daniel’s era it referred to the people of Israel.
• Only the Most High God can declare what the end of history will be. Other ancient writers spoke of the ages or eras of earthly history, but none knew how it would all end.

OET (OET-RV) but the dedicated followers of the highest one will receive the kingdom, and they will take possession of the kingdom forever.
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
