Here, to the face of represents being in front of Yahweh. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression or plain language. Alternate translation: [before Yahweh]

Yahweh is speaking of himself in the third person as Yahweh. If it would be helpful in your language, you could translate this in the first person. Alternate translation: [to my face]

Here the masculine term him has a generic sense that includes both men and women. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could use language in your translation that is clearly inclusive of both men and women. Alternate translation: [for him or her … for him or her]

The expression it shall be forgiven for him is a passive verbal form. If your language would not use that form, you could express the idea in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. If you need to say who does the action, the context indicates that it is God. Alternate translation: [and Yahweh shall forgive him]
