speak to/towards sons_of Yisrael and,you_will_say to,them (a)_man or woman/wife
If it would be clearer in your language, you could translate this so that there is not a quotation within a quotation. Alternate translation: [Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them that a man or a woman]
Note 2 topic: writing-quotations
וְאָמַרְתָּ֖ אֲלֵהֶ֑ם
and,you_will_say to,them
The phrase and say to them introduces a direct quotation. In your translation, use a natural way of introducing direct quotations in your language. It may not be necessary to represent this phrase explicitly.

כִּ֤י יַפְלִא֙
that/for/because/then/when special
Here and in [6:3–21](../06/03.md), the masculine language refers generically to men or women, as the phrase “A man or a woman” earlier in this verse shows. See the chapter introduction for more information. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could use language in your translation that is clearly inclusive of both men and women. Alternate translation: [when he or she does something wonderful]
Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
כִּ֤י יַפְלִא֙ לִנְדֹּר֙ נֶ֣דֶר
that/for/because/then/when special to,vow (a)_vow
The implication is that when someone makes a vow to become a Nazirite, they are making a serious and special commitment to Yahweh. You could include this information if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [when he makes a special vow, the vow of]
Note 5 topic: writing-poetry
לִנְדֹּר֙ נֶ֣דֶר נָזִ֔יר
to,vow (a)_vow nazirite
Yahweh is using a construction in which a verb and its object come from the same root. You may be able to use the same construction in your language to express the meaning here. Alternatively, your language may have another way of saying this. Alternate translation: [to vow to be]
Note 6 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom
לְהַזִּ֖יר לַֽיהוָֽה
to,be_a_Nazirite to/for=YHWH
The phrase to make separate to Yahweh is a common expression of this culture that means “to dedicate oneself to Yahweh” or “to set oneself apart for service to Yahweh.” If this phrase does not have that meaning in your language, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [to set himself apart for Yahweh]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
