הַזִּיר֖⁠וֹ לַ⁠יהוָ֑ה

of,his_being_a_Nazirite to/for=YHWH

The phrase making separate to Yahweh is a common expression of this culture that means “dedicating oneself to Yahweh” or “setting oneself apart for Yahweh.” If this phrase does not have that meaning in your language, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. See how you translated the similar phrase in [6:2](../06/02.md). Alternate translation: [him setting himself apart for Yahweh]
