A widow is a woman whose husband has died, so we know that the father is dead.

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / activepassive

Huram was filled with wisdom and understanding and skill

(Some words not found in UHB: son_of woman/wife widow he/it from,tribe Naftālī and,father,his (a)_man Tsor/(Tyre) fabricating copper/brass/bronze//coin and,full_of DOM the,wisdom and=DOM the,understanding and=DOM the=knowledge for=doing all/each/any/every work in/on/at/with,bronze and,came to/towards the=king Shəlomoh and=he/it_made DOM all/each/any/every their=property/content )

If your language does not use the passive form in this way, you can state this in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. The words “wisdom and understanding” mean basically the same thing and are used together for emphasis. Yahweh giving such things as wisdom is spoken of as if they were liquids that Yahweh had poured into a container, and Huram is spoken of as if he were that container. Alternate translation: “Yahweh had given Huram wisdom, understanding, and skill” (See also: figs-doublet and figs-metaphor)
