11:30 all the way from Beersheba . . . to the valley of Hinnom: Earlier descriptions of places where people settled concentrated on areas north of Jerusalem (ch 3; 11:31-36); this list (11:25-30) reflects progressive expansion of places where Jewish people lived as they occupied many of their preexilic towns, both north and south of Jerusalem.

These are the names of cities or towns. Alternate translation: “in Zanoah and Adullam and the nearby towns, in Lachish and the surrounding farmland, and in Azekah and its villages”
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
וַיַּחֲנ֥וּ מִבְּאֵֽר־שֶׁ֖בַע עַד־גֵּֽיא־הִנֹּֽם
and,camped from, seven until גֵּיא הִנֹּם
Encamped is a figurative way of saying that the people of Judah lived throughout this area. They were no longer living in tents, but in permanent houses. Alternate translation: “And so the people of Judah were living throughout the area from Beersheba to the valley of Hinnom”
Note 3 topic: grammar-connect-logic-result
וַיַּחֲנ֥וּ
and,camped
This phrase indicates that the sentence it introduces explains the results of what the previous sentences have described. If the people from the tribe of Judah lived in all these towns, then they were spread out over the whole area that the next phrase indicates. Alternate translation: “and so”
Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
וַיַּחֲנ֥וּ
and,camped
They refers to the people of Judah, looking back to the start of this part of the list in 11:25.
