BrLXX Ἐπὶ φίλον ἐὰν ἀνοίξῃς στόμα, μὴ εὐλαβηθῇς, ἔστι γὰρ διαλλαγή· πλὴν ὀνειδισμοῦ, καὶ ὑπερηφανίας, καὶ μυστηρίου ἀποκαλύψεως, καὶ πληγῆς δολίας, ἐν τούτοις ἀποφεύξεται πᾶς φίλος.
(Epi filon ean anoixaʸs stoma, maʸ eulabaʸthaʸs, esti gar diallagaʸ; plaʸn oneidismou, kai huperaʸfanias, kai mustaʸriou apokalupseōs, kai plaʸgaʸs dolias, en toutois apofeuxetai pas filos. )

BrTr If thou hast opened thy mouth against thy friend, fear not; for there may be a reconciliation: except for upbraiding, or pride, or disclosing of secrets, or a treacherous wound: for for these things every friend will depart.
