⇔ so sin will thrust itself in between buying and selling.
BrLXX Ἀναμέσον ἁρμῶν λίθων παγήσεται πάσσαλος, καὶ ἀναμέσον πράσεως καὶ ἀγορασμοῦ συντριβήσεται ἁμαρτία.
(Anameson harmōn lithōn pagaʸsetai passalos, kai anameson praseōs kai agorasmou suntribaʸsetai hamartia. )
BrTr As a nail sticketh fast between the joinings of the stones; so doth sin stick close between buying and selling.
WEBBE As a nail will stick fast between the joinings of stones,
⇔ so sin will thrust itself in between buying and selling.
DRA As a stake sticketh fast in the midst of the joining of stones, so also in the midst of selling and buying, sin shall stick fast.
