This was not a House in which anyone lived. It was a great ceremonial hall in which Solomon kept his collection of shields and weapons. Solomon may also have hosted large public assemblies and royal ceremonies in this hall. If it would be clearer in your language, you could use a term other than “house” to describe this building. Alternate translation: [the Forest of Lebanon Hall]
