As in [6:8](../06/08.md), the author is using the term shoulder to mean the side of the house or temple. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [in front of the right side of the temple … in front of the left side of the temple]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
עַל־כֶּ֤תֶף הַבַּ֨יִת֙ מִיָּמִ֔ין & כֶּ֥תֶף הַבַּ֖יִת מִשְּׂמֹאל֑וֹ

See the discussion in a note to [6:8](../06/08.md) of how, in these descriptions of the temple, the author is speaking of directions in the way that is characteristic of his culture. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could indicate the directions he is speaking of, particularly since he uses the terms eastward and south later in the verse. Alternate translation: [in front of the south side of the temple … in front of the north side of the temple]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
מִכֶּ֨תֶף הַבַּ֧יִת הַיְמָנִ֛ית קֵ֖דְמָה מִמּ֥וּל נֶֽגֶב
(Some words not found in UHB: and=he/it_gave DOM the,stands five on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in side_of of,the_house from_[the],right and,five on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in side_of of,the_house from,left_of,its and=DOM the=sea he/it_gave from,the_side_of of,the_house (the),right eastward, from,in_front_of south )
By from the right shoulder of the house, eastward toward the south, the author means at the southeast corner of the temple. You could indicate this explicitly in your translation if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [in front of the southeast corner of the temple]
OET (OET-LV) And_he/it_gave DOM the_stands five on the_side_of the_house from_the_right and_five on the_side_of the_house from_left_of_its and_DOM the_sea he_put from_the_side_of the_house (the)_right eastward from_in_front_of the_south.
OET (OET-RV) He put five basins on carts on each side of the temple (north and south of the east-facing temple), and he put the huge basin on its bronze cattle near the south-east corner.
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
Acknowledgements: The Hebrew text, lemmas, and morphology are all thanks to the OSHB and some of the glosses are from Macula Hebrew.
