uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / simile

וּמַֽעֲשֵׂה֙ הָא֣וֹפַנִּ֔ים כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֖ה אוֹפַ֣ן הַמֶּרְכָּבָ֑ה

(Some words not found in UHB: and,the_work_of of,the_wheels [was]_like,the_work_of wheel_of of_(the),chariot hands_of,their and,rims_of,their and,spokes_of,their and,hubs_of,their (the),everything throw )

The point of this comparison is that just as the wheel of a chariot is open, with spokes connecting the rim to the hub, so the wheels of these stands were open, with spokes, rims, and hubs. In this culture, carts designed to bear heavy loads had solid wooden wheels. The author is indicating Hiram’s skill and ingenuity in casting open metal wheels that could support the weight of the water that the basin held (900 kilograms or 2,000 pounds) in addition to the weight of the bronze basin itself and its bronze stand. If it would be helpful in your language, you could make this point explicitly. Alternate translation: [And Hiram made the wheels open, like chariot wheels, but they were still able to support the weight of the stand and its basin when it was full of water]

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / activepassive

יְדוֹתָ֣ם וְגַבֵּיהֶ֗ם וְחִשֻּׁקֵיהֶ֛ם וְחִשֻּׁרֵיהֶ֖ם הַכֹּ֥ל מוּצָֽק

hands_of,their (Some words not found in UHB: and,the_work_of of,the_wheels [was]_like,the_work_of wheel_of of_(the),chariot hands_of,their and,rims_of,their and,spokes_of,their and,hubs_of,their (the),everything throw )

The expression was cast is a passive verbal form. If your language would not use that form, you could express the idea in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. Alternate translation: [Hiram cast every part of these wheels from bronze, including their axles, rims, spokes, and hubs]
