This building had a name that used the same term that the author uses to describe the “porch” of the temple in [6:3](../06/03.md). That suggests that this building was located just outside the House of the Forest of Lebanon. (The fact that its length was equal to the width of that building supports this idea.) It probably served as a ceremonial entranceway for that building. However, this building also had a porch of its own. So if it would be clearer in your language, you could use a name for this building as a whole that uses a term other than “porch.” Alternate translation: [the Colonnade of Pillars]
