OET (OET-LV) If we_said we_will_enter the_city and_the_famine is_in_city and_we_will_die there and_if we_sat here and_we_will_die and_now come and_let_us_fall to the_camp_of ʼArām if they_will_let_us_live we_will_live and_if they_will_put_us_to_death and_we_will_die.
OET (OET-RV) If we go into the city, we’ll starve to death in there, but if we sit here, we’ll die anyway. Why don’t we go into the Aramean army camp—if they kill us then we’ll die, but if they let us live, then we’ll live.”

אִם־אָמַרְנוּ֩ נָב֨וֹא הָעִ֜יר
if say enter the=city
If it would be clearer in your language, you could translate this so that there is not a quotation within a quotation. Alternate translation: [If we say that we will enter the city] or [If we decide to enter the city]

(Some words not found in UHB: if say enter the=city and,the,famine [is]_in,city and,we_will_die there and=if sit here and,we_will_die and=now come and,let_us_fall to/towards camp_of ʼArām if they,will_let_us_live live and=if they,will_put_us_to_death and,we_will_die )
See how you translated the same expression in [3:23](../03/23.md).

The lepers are using let us fall as a common expression of their culture to mean “let us desert.” If this phrase does not have that meaning in your language, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. If you have already translated the book of 1 Samuel, see how you translated the similar expression in [1 Samuel 29:3](../1sa/29/03.md). Alternate translation: [and let us desert]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
