Balak states a result first and then gives the reason for it. Use a connector in your language that makes it clear that what follows is a reason for what came before. Alternate translation: [I said, ‘Honoring, I will honor you,’ but behold, Yahweh has withheld you from honor. So now, flee for yourself to your place]

Balak is using flee for yourself to your place as a common expression of the culture to mean “go back home at once.” If this phrase does not have that meaning for your readers, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [hurry back home right away]
