The implication is that God transforms a barren woman into a mother by giving her children. You could include this information if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [He causes a woman who is barren to become the joyful mother of children]

The psalmist is not referring to a specific barren woman. He means barren women in general. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could use an expression that would be more natural in your language. Alternate translation: [He causes barren women of their houses to dwell]

The words Hallelu Yah are Hebrew words, containing a plural command to praise Yahweh. You will need to decide if you will use these words in their Hebrew form or if you will instead translate the meaning into your language. Either approach has broad support. If you use the Hebrew words, you could spell them the way that they sound in your language and then put the translation in a footnote. Alternate translation: [Halleluia] or [Praise Yah]

Yah is a shortened form of the name “Yahweh,” the God of Israel. You could use the full name if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [Yahweh]
