uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / nominaladj

וְיִרְא֖וּ צַדִּיקִ֥ים

(Some words not found in UHB: love all words_of devour tongue_of deceitful )

David is using the adjective righteous as a noun to mean a certain kind of person. Your language may use adjectives in the same way. If not, you can translate this adjective with an equivalent phrase. Alternate translation: [And righteous people]

Note 2 topic: writing-pronouns

וְעָלָ֥יו

(Some words not found in UHB: love all words_of devour tongue_of deceitful )

Since David has been addressing Doeg directly (even though he cannot hear him) to show that he feels strongly about what he did, you may wish to use the pronoun “you” here instead of the pronoun him. However, there is poetic effect in the change of pronoun. David describes in the previous verse how God will destroy Doeg, and in this verse it is as if that has already happened, so that Doeg is no longer around to address directly. Use the pronoun that will be most natural and effective in your language.
