Vixit autem Moyses et alii electi de manna, quia spiritualiter manducaverunt. Sic et qui modo verba mea spiritualiter accipiunt. Ego sum panis vitæ. Ecce sacramentum verbis tegit, ut Judæi et etiam aliqui discipuli non credentes verbis illius magis scandalizentur, et humiles apostoli humiliter credentes probentur; unde Petrus: Verba vitæ æternæ habes.
