σάρξ μου & αἷμά μου

flesh ˱of˲_me & blood ˱of˲_me

Jesus is using the phrases my flesh and my blood to refer to believing in him. However, the Jews did not understand this. Therefore, you do not need to explain its meaning further here.

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / extrainfo

ἡ & σάρξ μου ἀληθής ἐστι βρῶσις, καὶ τὸ αἷμά μου ἀληθής ἐστι πόσις

the & flesh ˱of˲_me true (Some words not found in SR-GNT: ἡ γὰρ σάρξ μου ἀληθής ἐστιν βρῶσις καὶ τὸ αἷμά μου ἀληθής ἐστιν πόσις)

Jesus is using the phrases true food and true drink to say that he, Jesus, gives life to those who trust in him. However, the Jews did not understand this. Therefore, you do not need to explain its meaning further here.

Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / doublet

the & flesh ˱of˲_me true (Some words not found in SR-GNT: ἡ γὰρ σάρξ μου ἀληθής ἐστιν βρῶσις καὶ τὸ αἷμά μου ἀληθής ἐστιν πόσις)

As in the previous two verses, these two phrases mean basically the same thing. The repetition is used for emphasis. See how you translated the similar expressions in the previous two verses. Alternate translation: [my flesh is indeed true food, and my blood is indeed true drink]
