BSB § Now therefore, please swear to me by the LORD that you will indeed show kindness to my family, because I showed kindness to you. Give me a sure sign

OEB Now therefore swear to me by Jehovah, since I have dealt kindly with you, that you will also deal kindly with my father’s house, and give me a true token.

WEB Now therefore, please swear to me by Yahweh, since I have dealt kindly with you, that you also will deal kindly with my father’s house, and give me a true sign;

WMB Now therefore, please swear to me by the LORD, since I have dealt kindly with you, that you also will deal kindly with my father’s house, and give me a true sign;

NET So now, promise me this with an oath sworn in the Lord’s name. Because I have shown allegiance to you, show allegiance to my family. Give me a solemn pledge

LSV And now, please swear to me by YHWH—because I have done kindness with you—that you have done, even you, kindness with the house of my father, and have given a true token to me,

FBV So now promise me in the name of the Lord that because I have acted in good faith to you, then you will do the same for my family. Give me some sign that I can trust you,

T4T So now I want you to solemnly promise me, and ask Yahweh to punish you if you do not do what you promise. Solemnly promise me that you will act kindly to me and my family, because I have acted kindly to you.

LEB So then please swear to me by Yahweh, because I have shown loyalty to you,[fn] andyou will also show loyalty[fn]to my family.[fn] You must give me a sign of good faith,[fn]

MOF Now then, since I have dealt kindly with you, pray swear to me by the Eternal that you will deal kindly with my family, and give me a sure sign of it;

CB Sweare now then vnto me euen by the LORDE (for so moch as I haue dealte mercifully with you) that ye wyl also shewe mercy vpon my fathers house: and geue me a true token,
  (Sweare now then unto me even by the LORD (for so much as I have dealte mercifully with you) that ye/you_all will also show mercy upon my fathers house: and give me a true token,)

WYC Now therfor swere ye to me bi the Lord God, that as Y dide merci with you, so and ye do with the hows of my fadir; and yyue ye to me a veri signe,
  (Now therefore swere ye/you_all to me by the Lord God, that as I did mercy with you, so and ye/you_all do with the house of my father; and give ye/you_all to me a veri signe,)

LUT So schwöret mir nun bei dem HErrn, daß, weil ich an euch Barmherzigkeit getan habe, daß ihr auch meines Vaters Hause Barmherzigkeit tut; und gebet mir ein gewiß Zeichen,
  (So schwöret to_me now bei to_him HErrn, daß, weil I at you compassion getan have, that her also meines Vaters Hause compassion tut; and gebet to_me a gewiß Zeichen,)

CLV Nunc ergo jurate mihi per Dominum, ut quomodo ego misericordiam feci vobiscum, ita et vos faciatis cum domo patris mei: detisque mihi verum signum,

BRN And now swear to me by the Lord God; since I deal mercifully with you, so do ye also deal mercifully with the house of my father:
