3:5 Greek Thraseas
BrLXX καὶ νικῆσαι τὸν Ὀνίαν μὴ δυνάμενος, ἦλθε πρὸς Ἀπολλώνιον Θρασαίου, τὸν κατʼ ἐκεῖνον τὸν καιρὸν κοιλῆς Συρίας καὶ Φοινίκης στρατηγόν.
(kai nikaʸsai ton Onian maʸ dunamenos, aʸlthe pros Apollōnion Thrasaiou, ton katʼ ekeinon ton kairon koilaʸs Surias kai Foinikaʸs strataʸgon. )
BrTr And when he could not overcome Onias, he gat him to Apollonius the son of Thraseas, who then was governor of Celosyria and Phenice,

3:5 Or, Thraseas The Greek text is probably corrupt. Perhaps the true reading is Apollonius of Tarsus.
