In this section Paul reminded the Corinthian believers about the gospel and showed them that the resurrection from the dead was an important part of the gospel. First (15:1–11) he wrote about the evidence showing that God raised Christ from the dead. Then (15:12–34) he taught that God will raise believers from the dead. Finally (15:35–58) he taught about what the resurrection body will be like.

In this paragraph Paul wrote about how God will conquer death. God will rule over everything and everyone.
For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive: This verse means approximately the same thing as the previous verse. It compares what Adam has done for people with what Christ has done for people.
The CEV shows another way to say this:
Adam brought death to all of us, and Christ will bring life to all of us. (CEV)
in Adam…in Christ: The phrases in Adam and in Christ mean “because of Adam” and “because of Christ.” Because humans are descended from Adam, and because they sin like Adam, they die. Because humans are joined to Christ by faith, they will live again.
It is important that your readers understand that the man mentioned in 15:21a is the Adam referred to here, and the man mentioned in 15:21b is the Christ referred to here.
For as in Adam all die,
For because of Adam everyone dies,
For because we(incl) are joined/connected with Adam we(incl) will all die.
in Adam all die: The word all means all who are in Adam, that is, all people, including the writer and his readers.
Here are some other ways to translate this phrase:
because of Adam we(incl) will all die
everybody who is descended from Adam will die
because we(incl) sinned like Adam, we(incl) will all die
so in Christ all will be made alive.
and so because of Christ everyone will live again.
In the same way, because we(incl) are joined/connected with Christ, we(incl) will all come alive from the dead.
in Christ all will be made alive: The word all refers to all people who are in Christ, that is, those who belong to Christ. This included Paul and his readers.
Here are some other ways to translate this phrase:
because of Christ we(incl) all will be made alive
everybody who is joined to Christ will be raised
because we(incl) believe in Christ, we(incl) will all be made alive
This is a passive clause. In some languages it may be natural to provide the subject and say:
God will make us(incl) all alive

Here Paul uses the spatial metaphors in Adam and in Christ to describe the union of people with Adam and Christ. Paul does not specify how this union occurs, but what is clear is that those who are united to Adam will die, while those who are united to Christ will be made alive. If it would be helpful in your language, you could express this figure of speech with a comparable metaphor or express the idea plainly. Alternate translation: [those who are related to Adam … those who are related to Christ] or [in union with Adam … in union with Christ]

Here Paul uses the present tense of die to indicate what is generally true. If your language does not use the present tense for what is generally true, you can use whatever tense is most natural. Alternate translation: [will die]

If your language does not use the passive form in this way, you can express the idea in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. Paul uses the passive here to focus on all, who will be made alive, rather than focusing on the one making them alive. If you must state who does the action, Paul implies that “God” does it. Alternate translation: [God will make all alive]

Here, all contrasts with the all who are in Adam earlier in the sentence. Paul is not trying to argue about how many people will be made alive again. Rather he is contrasting how all who are in Adam end up dying, while all who are in Christ end up being made alive. If your readers would think that Paul is making a claim about how many people are made alive, you could use a word or phrase that identifies all as those who are in Christ. Alternate translation: [all who believe in him]
15:1-58 Some people in the church had doubts about a future resurrection of the dead. Paul reassures them and, perhaps in response to their skeptical questions, discusses the nature of a resurrection body.
