4.23 Spiritu mentis.

4.23 Spiritu mentis. Non there duas res intelligi voluit Apostolus as_if something_else let_it_be mens, something_else spiritus mentis, but because mens spiritus it_is. Simile dictum it_is: In exspoliatione corporis carnis, id it_is carnis which body it_is. Mens therefore, or ratio, or intelligentia, imago of_God it_is, which præest human cæteris: who creatus in agnitione of_God, postquam peccato desipuit, in eadem renovatur, as incipiat that imago away illo reformari, from quo formata it_is.

TSNTyndale Study Notes:

4:20-24 What you learned about Christ is the truth that comes from him. He gives true understanding (cp. John 14:6) and calls his people to an entirely new way of life (cp. Rom 6:3-14; 13:12-14; Col 3:8-10).
