Normally the OET discourages the reading of individual ‘verses’, but this view is only designed for doing comparisons of different translations. Click on any Bible version abbreviation down the left-hand side to see the verse in more of its context. 4.23 Spiritu mentis.
4.23 Spiritu mentis. Non there duas res intelligi voluit Apostolus as_if something_else let_it_be mens, something_else spiritus mentis, but because mens spiritus it_is. Simile dictum it_is: In exspoliatione corporis carnis, id it_is carnis which body it_is. Mens therefore, or ratio, or intelligentia, imago of_God it_is, which præest human cæteris: who creatus in agnitione of_God, postquam peccato desipuit, in eadem renovatur, as incipiat that imago away illo reformari, from quo formata it_is.
