UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: grammar-connect-logic-result

וְנִסְלַ֗ח לְכָל־עֲדַת֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְלַגֵּ֖ר הַגָּ֣ר בְּתוֹכָ֑ם כִּ֥י לְכָל־הָעָ֖ם בִּשְׁגָגָֽה

and,it_will_be_forgiven to/from=all/each/any/every community_of sons_of Yisrael and,to,sojourner [who],sojourns among,,them that/for/because/then/when to/from=all/each/any/every the,people by,inadvertence

If it would be more natural in your language, you could reverse the order of these phrases, since the second phrase gives the reason for the result that the first phrase describes. Alternate translation: [It was to all the people by mistake. So, it shall be forgiven for all the congregation of the sons of Israel and for the sojourner, the one sojourning in their midst]

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / activepassive

וְנִסְלַ֗ח לְכָל־עֲדַת֙

and,it_will_be_forgiven to/from=all/each/any/every community_of

The expression it shall be forgiven is a passive verbal form. If your language would not use that form, you could express the idea in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. If you need to say who does the action, the context indicates that it is Yahweh. Alternate translation: [And Yahweh shall forgive all the congregation]

Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / explicitinfo

וְלַגֵּ֖ר הַגָּ֣ר בְּתוֹכָ֑ם

and,to,sojourner [who],sojourns among,,them

It might seem that the expression the sojourner, the one sojourning in their midst contains extra information that would not be natural to express in your language. If so, you could shorten it. Alternate translation: [and for the one sojourning in their midst]

Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / genericnoun

וְלַגֵּ֖ר הַגָּ֣ר

and,to,sojourner [who],sojourns

Here, sojourner and the one sojourning represent foreigners in general, not specific foreigners. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could use expressions that would be more natural in your language. Alternate translation: [and for the sojourners, the ones sojourning]

Note 5 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit

כִּ֥י לְכָל־הָעָ֖ם בִּשְׁגָגָֽה

that/for/because/then/when to/from=all/each/any/every the,people by,inadvertence

By it was to all the people by mistake, the author means that all the people had disobeyed unintentionally. You could indicate this explicitly in your translation if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [for all the people disobeyed by mistake]
