OET (OET-RV) Each cart had two bronze axles with four bronze wheels attached to them. At each of the top four corners, there were bronze supports to hold a wash basin, and these were also cast with decorative wreaths.
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom
וְאַרְבָּעָה֩ & וְאַרְבָּעָ֥ה פַעֲמֹתָ֖יו כְּתֵפֹ֣ת לָהֶ֑ם מִתַּ֤חַת לַכִּיֹּר֙
(Some words not found in UHB: and,four wheels_of copper/brass/bronze//coin [belonged]_to,stand the=one(f) and,axles_of copper/brass/bronze//coin and,four feet_of,its supports to/for=them from=under to,laver the,supports throw [were]_from_[the],side_of (a)_man wreaths )
The author is using the term shoulders to mean supports for the basin that each stand held and transported. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [And there were supports on the four corners of each stand to hold up a basin]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
לַכִּיֹּר֙
(Some words not found in UHB: and,four wheels_of copper/brass/bronze//coin [belonged]_to,stand the=one(f) and,axles_of copper/brass/bronze//coin and,four feet_of,its supports to/for=them from=under to,laver the,supports throw [were]_from_[the],side_of (a)_man wreaths )
The author assumes that his readers will know that each of these stands supported a basin in which the priests washed the parts of animals that they would burn as sacrifices. (The parallel passage in [2 Chronicles 4:6](../2ch/04/06.md) says this specifically.) The author therefore assumes that readers will know that by the basin, he means the basin that each of these stands supported. You could indicate this explicitly in your translation if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [to the basin that the stand supported]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / activepassive
הַכְּתֵפֹ֣ת יְצֻק֔וֹת מֵעֵ֥בֶר אִ֖ישׁ לֹיֽוֹת
(Some words not found in UHB: and,four wheels_of copper/brass/bronze//coin [belonged]_to,stand the=one(f) and,axles_of copper/brass/bronze//coin and,four feet_of,its supports to/for=them from=under to,laver the,supports throw [were]_from_[the],side_of (a)_man wreaths )
The expression were cast is a passive verbal form. If your language would not use that form, you could express the idea in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. Alternate translation: [Hiram decorated the side of each support with wreaths that he cast in bronze]
OET (OET-LV) And_four wheels_of bronze belonged_to_stand the_one(f) and_axles_of bronze and_four feet_of_its supports to/for_them from_under to_laver the_supports were_throw were_from_the_side_of each wreaths.
OET (OET-RV) Each cart had two bronze axles with four bronze wheels attached to them. At each of the top four corners, there were bronze supports to hold a wash basin, and these were also cast with decorative wreaths.
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
