OET (OET-LV) And_ Bālāq _he/it_said to Bilˊām what have_you_done to_me to_curse enemies_of_my I_took_you and_BEHOLD/LO/SEE you_have_blessed actually_(bless).
OET (OET-RV) But Balak demanded from Bileam, “What have you done to me? I brought you here to curse my enemies, and blast it all—you’ve actually blessed them!”
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / rquestion
מֶ֥ה עָשִׂ֖יתָ לִ֑י
what? you(ms)_have_done/made to=me
Balak is using the question form to rebuke Balaam and to express his frustration, not to ask for information. If a speaker of your language would not use the question form for that purpose, you could translate this as a statement or as an exclamation. Alternate translation: [Look what you have done to me!]
Note 2 topic: grammar-connect-logic-goal
לָקֹ֤ב אֹיְבַי֙ לְקַחְתִּ֔יךָ
to,curse enemies_of,my I,took_you
The word to marks curse my enemies as the purpose for which Balak brought Balaam. Use a connector in your language that makes it clear that this is the purpose.
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / reduplication
בֵּרַ֥כְתָּ בָרֵֽךְ
bless to_bless
Balak is repeating forms of the verb blessed in order to intensify his expression of the idea that it conveys. If your language can repeat words for intensification, it would be appropriate to do that here in your translation. If not, your language may have another way of expressing the intensification. Alternate translation: [you have completely blessed them]
OET (OET-LV) And_ Bālāq _he/it_said to Bilˊām what have_you_done to_me to_curse enemies_of_my I_took_you and_BEHOLD/LO/SEE you_have_blessed actually_(bless).
OET (OET-RV) But Balak demanded from Bileam, “What have you done to me? I brought you here to curse my enemies, and blast it all—you’ve actually blessed them!”
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
Acknowledgements: The Hebrew text, lemmas, and morphology are all thanks to the OSHB and some of the glosses are from Macula Hebrew.
