OET (OET-LV)May_he_add YHWH to_you(pl) to_you(pl) and_to children_of_your(pl).

OET (OET-RV)May Yahweh give more and more children to you all,
⇔ and also to your descendants.

uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit

יֹסֵ֣ף יְהוָ֣ה עֲלֵיכֶ֑ם

give_~_increase YHWH to,you(pl)

The psalmist assumes that readers will know what Yahweh should add to you. The context of blessing families suggests that this refers to adding children or descendants. You could say that explicitly if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [May Yahweh add children to your families]

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / yousingular

יֹסֵ֣ף יְהוָ֣ה עֲלֵיכֶ֑ם

give_~_increase YHWH to,you(pl)

The word you is plural here because the psalmist is addressing the Israelites, so use the plural form in your translation if your language marks that distinction. Alternate translation: [May Yahweh add to all of you]

Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / doublet

עֲלֵיכֶ֑ם עֲ֝לֵיכֶ֗ם

to,you(pl) to,you(pl)

The psalmist repeats to you for emphasis. If it would be clearer for your readers, you could express the emphasis in another way. Alternate translation: [to you, yes, to you]

Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor

וְעַל־בְּנֵיכֶֽם

and,to (Some words not found in UHB: give_~_increase YHWH to,you(pl) to,you(pl) and,to children_of,your(pl) )

The psalmist is speaking as if future generations were actually sons. He means descendants in general. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [and to your descendants]
