In this section, Paul talked to the Jews about themselves. He continued to use the singular “you,” as in the previous section. This form of teaching is called a “diatribe.” (See Section 2:1–16.)
Using this diatribe, Paul rebuked the Jews because they had the law of Moses but they disobeyed it.
Paul showed them that an outward sign of religion is of no use to people if they did not do what is right. He told them that God praises those whose heart is right with God.

The Greek word that begins this sentence is usually translated as “and.” The BSB omits this word. Paul had something more to say about the non-Jew who does what is right in God’s eyes. Translate this word in a way that would be most natural in your language or omit it and leave the connection with 2:26 implicit, as the BSB does.
who is physically uncircumcised: The Greek word that the BSB translates as physically is literally “by nature.” Here it indicates that this person has not been circumcised. Here are other ways to translate this phrase:

he who is from a group that does not circumcise
will condemn you who, even though you have the written code and circumcision, are a lawbreaker.
will judge you as a wrongdoer because you have the sign of circumcision and the written Jewish law but break it.
he will call you guilty/bad because you have disobeyed God’s law, even though it is written down for you and you have been circumcised.
will condemn you: This phrase refers to deciding that someone is guilty of wrongdoing. Here it probably refers generally to doing this, not as a judge in court. Here are other ways to translate this phrase:
will judge you as guilty
will call you an evildoer
the written code: The Greek is literally “letter.” Here it refers to the laws that God told Moses to write down.
