Here, distress in the flesh refers to the same problems and troubles that Paul has already called “the coming distress” in 7:26. The phrase does not refer to marital problems or fights with one’s spouse. Rather, it refers to extra distress that married people will experience while suffering under persecution and troubles. If it would be helpful in your language, you could translate distress in the flesh by referring to how you translated “the coming distress” in 7:26 and making the connection to that phrase clear.
