BSB So Ahab said to Naboth, “Give me your vineyard to use as a vegetable garden, since it is next to my palace. I will give you a better vineyard in its place—or if you prefer, I will give you its value in silver.”

OEB And Ahab spoke to Naboth, saying, ‘Give me your vineyard, that I may have it for a vegetable garden, because it is near my house, and I will give you a better vineyard for it; or, if it is more satisfactory to you, I will give you the value of it in money.’

WYC Therfor Achab spak to Naboth, and seide, Yyue thou to me the vyner, that Y make to me a gardyn of wortis, for it is nyy, and nyy myn hows; and Y schal yyue to thee a betere vyner for it; ethir if thou gessist it more profitable to thee, Y schall yyue the prijs of siluer, as myche as it is worth.
  (Therefore Achab spoke to Naboth, and said, Yyue thou/you to me the vyner, that I make to me a gardyn of wortis, for it is nyy, and nigh/near mine hows; and I shall give to thee a better vyner for it; ethir if thou/you gessist it more profitable to thee, I schall give the price of silver, as much as it is worth.)

LUT Und Ahab redete mit Naboth und sprach: Gib mir deinen Weinberg, ich will mir einen Kohlgarten draus machen, weil er so nahe an meinem Hause liegt. Ich will dir einen bessern Weinberg dafür geben; oder, so dir‘s gefällt, will ich dir Silber dafür geben, so viel er gilt.
  (And Ahab talked with Naboth and spoke: Gib to_me deinen Weinberg, I will to_me a Kohlgarten draus machen, weil he so nahe at my Hause liegt. I will you a bessern Weinberg dafür geben; oder, so dir‘s gefällt, will I you Silber dafür geben, so many he gilt.)
