OET (OET-LV) And the_report concerning him was_going_out into every place of_the surrounding_region.
OET (OET-RV) After that, the reports of what he’d done were passed around to every part of the surrounding region.
In Nazareth, people did not believe that Jesus was sent by God. In this section, Jesus went back to Capernaum (4:23d). Apparently, the people in Capernaum accepted him. There he commanded a demon to come out of a man. The people were amazed at both the authority and the power with which Jesus spoke.
Some other possible headings for this section are:
Jesus Forces an Evil Spirit out of a Man (GW)
Jesus exorcises an evil spirit
There is a parallel passage for this section in Mark 1:21–28.
And the news about Jesus spread throughout the surrounding region.
The news about Jesus spread through that whole region.
Then people spread the news about Jesus throughout that entire area.
So all through the nearby villages and towns, people told others about the things that Jesus had done.
And: This verse begins with a Greek conjunction that is often translated as “and.” Since the events in 4:37 happened as a result of the events in 4:31–36, some versions indicate that 4:37 is the result by translating this conjunction as “So.” For example:
So the news about him (NET)
Other versions begin this verse without a conjunction.
the news about Jesus spread: The phrase the news about Jesus spread means that people told other people what Jesus had said and done. A similar phrase occurs in 4:14b.
throughout the surrounding region: The Greek phrase that the BSB translates as throughout the surrounding region is literally “into every place of the surrounding region.” This included the towns and the more rural areas.
Some other ways to translate this phrase are:
to every place in the whole area (NCV)
all over that part of the country (CEV)
through every village in the entire region (NLT)

καὶ ἐξεπορεύετο ἦχος περὶ αὐτοῦ
(Some words not found in SR-GNT: Καί ἐξεπορεύετο ἦχος περί αὐτοῦ εἰς παντᾶ τόπον τῆς περιχώρου)
This is a comment about what happened after the story as a result of the events within the story itself.

καὶ
(Some words not found in SR-GNT: Καί ἐξεπορεύετο ἦχος περί αὐτοῦ εἰς παντᾶ τόπον τῆς περιχώρου)
Luke uses the word And to introduce the results of what the previous sentence described. Alternate translation: [As a result]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / personification
ἐξεπορεύετο ἦχος περὶ αὐτοῦ
˓was˒_going_out ˓the˒_report (Some words not found in SR-GNT: Καί ἐξεπορεύετο ἦχος περί αὐτοῦ εἰς παντᾶ τόπον τῆς περιχώρου)
Luke speaks of this report as if it were something that could spread around actively by itself. As in [4:14](../04/14.md), this expression means that those who heard about Jesus told other people about him, who told even more people about him. Alternate translation: [people began to spread the report about Jesus]
OET (OET-LV) And the_report concerning him was_going_out into every place of_the surrounding_region.
OET (OET-RV) After that, the reports of what he’d done were passed around to every part of the surrounding region.
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
