Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / ellipsis
לֹא־כֵ֖ן עַבְדִּ֣י מֹשֶׁ֑ה
not so servant_of,my Mosheh
The author is leaving out some of the words that in many languages a sentence would need in order to be complete. You can supply these words from the context if that would be clearer in your language. Alternate translation: [Not so do I make myself known to my servant Moses]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
בְּכָל־בֵּיתִ֖י נֶאֱמָ֥ן הֽוּא
in=all house_of,my faithful he/it
Here, the phrase he himself is faithful could indicate that: (1) Moses faithfully does what God requires. Alternate translation: [in all my house he, he acts faithfully] (2) Moses is entrusted with the house. Alternate translation: [with all my house he, he is entrusted]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / metonymy
בְּכָל־בֵּיתִ֖י
in=all house_of,my
God is using the term house to mean all the people who serve and worship him. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression or state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [among all my people]
Note 4 topic: writing-pronouns
נֶאֱמָ֥ן הֽוּא
faithful he/it
Yahweh is stating the pronoun he separately, even though the verb translated as he is faithful already includes this meaning. He is doing that to emphasize that Moses is very faithful. If a speaker of your language would use an explicit pronoun for the same purpose, you may want to use that construction in your translation. If not, your language may have other ways of showing that emphasis. Alternate translation: [he certainly is faithful]
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
Acknowledgements: The Hebrew text, lemmas, and morphology are all thanks to the OSHB and some of the glosses are from Macula Hebrew.
