Here, calling his name represents praying to God or calling out to him. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression or state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [was among those calling out to him]

וְ⁠ה֣וּא יַעֲנֵֽ⁠ם

and=he he,answered_them

The psalmist is stating the pronoun he separately, even though the verb translated as answered already includes this meaning. He is doing that to emphasize that Yahweh himself responded to Moses, Aaron, and Samuel. If a speaker of your language would use an explicit pronoun for the same purpose, you may want to use that construction in your translation. If not, your language may have other ways of showing the meaning here. Alternate translation: [and he himself answered them]

By he answered them, the psalmist means that God helped Moses, Aaron, and Samuel when they called out to him for assistance. You could indicate this explicitly in your translation if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [he helped them]
