23.16 Pepigit autem Joiada fœdus. Joiada interpretatur cognoscens Dominum, vel diligens: quia filios Isræl Dominum cognoscere docuit. Pepigit ergo fœdus inter Dominum populumque et regem, ut Domino scilicet obedirent, et legi ejus.
