BrLXXὉ ἐγγὺς ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ πεσεῖται, ὁ δὲ μακρὰν ἐν θανάτῳ τελευτήσει· καὶ ὁ περιεχόμενος ἐν λιμῷ συντελεσθήσεται· καὶ συντελέσω τὴν ὀργήν μου ἐπʼ αὐτούς.

BrTrHe that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that is far off shall die by the pestilence; and he that is in the siege shall be consumed with famine: and I will accomplish mine anger upon them.

ULTThe one far away will die by plague, and the one who is near will fall by the sword. Those who remain and survive will die by famine. In this way I will accomplish my fury against them.

USTThose who are far from Jerusalem will die from plagues, those who are close to Jerusalem will be killed by their enemies’ swords. Those who are still alive after that will die from hunger. That is how I will punish them.
