Normally the OET discourages the reading of individual ‘verses’, but this view is only designed as a tool for doing comparisons of different translations. Click on any Bible version abbreviation down the left-hand side to see the verse in more of its context. 8.2 Duos arietes. Christi passio significatur, qui est dux populi. Bene autem duo arietes immolantur, quia Christus bis nobis mysteria suæ passionis commisit: primum quando agnum mysticum in cœna comedit, secundo quando eadem mysteria in panis et vini consecratione constituit.

8:2 These items are also mentioned in Exod 29:1-3, 7.
• sacred garments: See Exod 28.
• The anointing oil consisted of special ingredients to give it a unique scent. These included myrrh, cinnamon, cane, and cassia (dried flowers from the cinnamon tree) mixed into olive oil (see Exod 30:22-33).
• bull for the sin offering: See Lev 4:3-12.
• The first of the two rams was to be a whole burnt offering (8:18), while the second was a special ordination sacrifice (8:22).
• basket of bread made without yeast: See 6:19-23.

וְאֵ֖ת שֶׁ֣מֶן הַמִּשְׁחָ֑ה
and=DOM oil_of the,anointing
The expression oil of anointing uses the possessive form to describe olive oil that was mixed with perfuming spices and used for ceremonially setting priests and kings apart for service to Yahweh. This was done by sprinkling or pouring the oil on whomever or whatever was being set apart. This oil is described in detail in [Exodus 30:23–24](../exo/30/23.md). If your language does not have an abstract noun for the idea behind the word anointing, you can express the same idea with a verbal form. Alternate translation: [and the oil that is used to anoint people and things for service to Yahweh]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / possession
וְאֵ֣ת ׀ פַּ֣ר הַֽחַטָּ֗את
and=DOM bull_of the,sin_offering
The expression the bull of the sin offering uses the possessive form to describe the bull that had been selected to be sacrificed for a sin offering. It may be helpful to clarify this for your readers. Alternate translation: [and the bull that Aaron and his sons will present as a sin offering]
