Note: This view shows ‘verses’ which are not natural language units and hence sometimes only part of a sentence will be visible. Normally the OET discourages the reading of individual ‘verses’, but this view is only designed for doing comparisons of different translations. Click on any Bible version abbreviation down the left-hand side to see the verse in more of its context. The OET segments on this page are still very early looks into the unfinished texts of the Open English Translation of the Bible. Please double-check these texts in advance before using in public.

1.7 De tribu Juda. ID. I Cor. 9.. Unde: Sicut exaltavit Moyses serpentem in deserto, sic exaltari oportet filium hominis, etc. Joan. 3..

1.7 De tribu Yuda. ID. Possunt significari in Yuda everyone who recte invocant nomen Master, but_not sensu but_not verbo dissentientes from norma of_faith: quorum merito Naasson prince it_is, who scilicet not/no solum alios prædicando instruit, but also virulenta vitiorum yacula body his_own castigando in semetipso interficit, after/second illud: Castigo body mine and in servitutem redigo, etc. I Cor. 9.. Allegorice, Yuda, about quo reges, who interpretatur confessio or laudatio, this the_people significat Ecclesiæ, cuyus caput it_is leo about tribu Yuda, id it_is, Christus. Vere because of_faith laudatio or confessio, id it_is, recta prælet_him_sayio, only in Ecclesia it_is. Naasson therefore, id it_is serpentinus, or augurium, son Aminadab, scilicet spontanei of_the_people, Salvator intelligitur about patriarchis, Deo devotis famulis, genitus, who through mortem his_own destruxit diabolum. In serpente because, whence primum mortis causa, id it_is peccatum, processit, mors figuratur. Whence: Sicut exaltavit Moyses serpentem in deserto, so exaltari oportet son of_man, etc. Yoan. 3..
