OET (OET-RV) But if your loyalty shifts away and you don’t listen but instead you’re drawn away and bow down to other gods and serve them,

Moses uses the heart to represent where a person’s will and inner commitment exist. He is speaking of disobeying Yahweh as if one turns away from walking on a path that follows Yahweh. You may have comparable expressions in your language, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [you decide to disobey Yahweh]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
וְלֹ֣א תִשְׁמָ֑ע
and=not (Some words not found in UHB: and=if turns_away heart_of,your and=not listen and,you_will_be_drawn_aside and,you_will_bow_down to,gods other and,you,will_serve_them )
See how you translated “listen” in [verse 2](../30/02.md). Alternate translation: [and you do not listen and obey]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / activepassive
וְנִדַּחְתָּ֗
(Some words not found in UHB: and=if turns_away heart_of,your and=not listen and,you_will_be_drawn_aside and,you_will_bow_down to,gods other and,you,will_serve_them )
The expression are drawn away is a passive verbal form. If your language would not use that form, you could express the idea in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. Alternate translation: [but you turn away] or [but you go astray]
OET (OET-LV) And_if it_will_turn_away heart_of_your and_not you_will_listen and_you_will_be_drawn_aside and_you_will_bow_down to_gods other and_you_will_serve_them.
OET (OET-RV) But if your loyalty shifts away and you don’t listen but instead you’re drawn away and bow down to other gods and serve them,
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
