OET (OET-LV) remember to/for_me god_my on this and_not wipe_out good_deeds_my which I_have_done in_house_of god_my and_in/on/at/with_services_its.
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom
זָכְרָה־לִּ֥י אֱלֹהַ֖י עַל־זֹ֑את
remember, to/for=me God,my on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in this(f)
In this context, remember means to think about someone and consider what action you can take on their behalf. Nehemiah is not suggesting that God has forgotten about him. Alternate translation: “please bless me, my God, for doing this”
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / aside
זָכְרָה־לִּ֥י אֱלֹהַ֖י עַל־זֹ֑את
remember, to/for=me God,my on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in this(f)
As in 4:4, here Nehemiah stops addressing the audience of his story and speaks directly to God. You could indicate this by putting this verse in quotation marks. Review the note at 4:4 about asides like this if that would be helpful.
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
וְאַל־תֶּ֣מַח
and,not wipe_out
Nehemiah speaks of his good deeds as if they were something written that could be erased. Alternate translation: “do not overlook”
Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / abstractnouns
חֲסָדַ֗י
good_deeds,my
The abstract noun faithful kindness here is the same as the term “covenant faithfulness” that Nehemiah applies to God in 1:5, 9:17, 9:32, and 13:22. It refers to a person consistently and dependably fulfilling the obligations they have accepted. If it would be helpful in your language, you could translate the idea behind this word with a phrase that would bring out this meaning. Alternate translation: “the way that I have consistently provided for”
Note 5 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
בְּבֵ֥ית אֱלֹהַ֖י
in=house_of God,my
Nehemiah speaks of the temple as the house of God as if it were God’s dwelling place. Alternate translation: “your temple”
וּבְמִשְׁמָרָֽיו
and,in/on/at/with,services,its
As in 12:9 and 12:24, the phrase service watch refers to the Levite singers. It means either an individual choir or a time on duty for the singers. Alternate translation: “and for the Levite singers”
13:14 Because he stood up for God, Nehemiah asked God to remember his deeds and not abandon him in his time of need. Perhaps he experienced opposition from those he had corrected. See similar refrains in 13:22, 29, 31.
OET (OET-LV) remember to/for_me god_my on this and_not wipe_out good_deeds_my which I_have_done in_house_of god_my and_in/on/at/with_services_its.
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
