בְּר֣וֹק בָּ֭רָק וּ⁠תְפִיצֵ֑⁠ם שְׁלַ֥ח חִ֝צֶּ֗י⁠ךָ וּ⁠תְהֻמֵּֽ⁠ם

(Some words not found in UHB: flash_forth lightning and,you,will_scatter_them send_out arrows_of,your and,you,will_confuse_them )

These two clauses mean basically the same thing. Hebrew poetry was based on this kind of repetition. It would be good to show this to your readers by including both phrases in your translation rather than combining them. However, if it would be unclear in your language, you could connect the phrases in a way that shows that the second phrase is repeating the first one, not saying something additional. Alternate translation: [Light lightning and scatter them; yes, send your arrows and rout them]

David is repeating forms of the word lighten in order to intensify his expression of the idea that it conveys. If your language can repeat words for intensification, it would be appropriate to do that here in your translation. If not, your language may have another way of expressing the intensification. Alternate translation: [Flash your lightening]

וּ⁠תְפִיצֵ֑⁠ם

and,you,will_scatter_them

The pronoun them refers to David’s enemies. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state this explicitly. Alternate translation: [and scatter my enemies]

David is speaking of lightning bolts as if they were arrows that God shoots at his enemies. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [send your lightning bolts]
