The phrase you have made my mountain stand strong could be: (1) David speaking of his security and strength as if they were my mountain. Alternate translation: [you have made me as secure as a mountain] or [you have given me great strength and security] (2) David using the phrase my mountain to refer to Mount Zion in which case David would be using Mount Zion to represent his rule as king which he would do from Mount Zion. Alternate translation: [you have made my reign secure] or [you have firmly established my rule]
