מַה־בֶּ֥צַע בְּ⁠דָמִ⁠י֮ בְּ⁠רִדְתִּ֪⁠י אֶ֫ל־שָׁ֥חַת הֲ⁠יוֹדְ⁠ךָ֥ עָפָ֑ר הֲ⁠יַגִּ֥יד אֲמִתֶּֽ⁠ךָ

David is using a question to emphasize that his death would not benefit God and to make the point that dead people cannot praise God. If a speaker of your language would not use the question form for this purpose, you could translate these questions as statements or exclamations. Alternate translation: [There is no profit in my blood, in my descent to the pit. The dust will not praise you! It will not declare your faithfulness!]

These two phrases mean basically the same thing. The second emphasizes the meaning of the first by repeating the same idea with different words. Hebrew poetry was based on this kind of repetition, and you may want to show this to your readers by including both phrases in your translation. If it is helpful, you could connect the phrases in a way that shows that the second phrase is repeating the first one, not saying something additional. [What advantage is there in my death, yes, in my going down to the grave]

David assumes that readers will know that the pit refers to the dwelling place of the dead. You could say that explicitly if that would be helpful to your readers. (In [30:3](../030/003.md) David uses a different Hebrew word for “pit,” but there the word has the same meaning as it does here so you could see how you translated “pit” there.) Alternate translation: [to the place of the dead] or [to the abode of the dead]
