26.1 Cumque intraveris, etc.

26.1 Cumque intraveris, etc. Sicut Isrælitæ in earth/land promissionis their_own primitias yubentur offerre for gratiarum actione, because erepti are about Ægypto so we through spiritalem Yordan, id it_is baptismum, the_earth/land Ecclesiæ intrantes ponamus in cartalo conversationis nostræ primitias operationis bonæ, and offeramus Deo in altari of_faith catholicæ, as sacerdos noster Christus suscipiat, ibique confiteamur Master saying that Syrus, who interpretatur sublimis, or humectans, id it_is diabolus, persequebatur patrem nostrum, id it_is protoplastum, as deceptum through superbiam, gulam and avaritiam, paradisi possessione privaret, whence exsul in Ægypto huyus mundi peregrinatus it_is in parvo numero, because multi idololatriam followed are, and pauci fideles remanserunt. But postquam lege data plures surrexerunt, scientiam and faith of_one of_God accipientes, afflixerunt them Ægyptii, id it_is dæmones, onera sinners gravissima imponentes. But respexit God humani generis afflictionem and laborem, and he_sent Son his_own, who hands his and brachium it_is_said, as eriperet about potestate tenebrarum, and transferret in kingdom lucis. So he_delivered us the_earth/land lacte and melle manantem, id it_is, potentem Ecclesiam, where lac innocentiæ and favus doctrinæ, whence nutriantur parvuli, and mel dulcis and multiplicis sapientiæ, whence satientur perfecti.

TSNTyndale Study Notes:

26:1-15 Under the terms of the covenant, the Great King required that his subjects render him tribute annually or even more frequently. Since Israel was an agrarian society, God required offerings of animal, vegetable, or grain products. This tribute specifically celebrated the mighty Exodus redemption.

UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / you

General Information:

Moses speaks to the Israelites as if they were one man, so the words “you” and “your” here are singular.
