In Paul’s culture, For a normal way to introduce a quotation from an important text, in this case, the Old Testament book titled “Psalms” (See: [Psalm 24:1](../psa/24/01.md)). If it would be helpful in your language, you could use a comparable phrase that indicates that Paul is quoting from an important text. Alternate translation: [For it can be read in the Old Testament,] or [For it says in the book of Psalms,]

Here, fullness refers to everything that is connected with the earth, including people, animals, natural resources, and anything else that goes with the earth. Use a natural way to refer to everything connected with the earth in your language. Alternate translation: [everything in it]
