OET (OET-RV) I hadn’t believed it until I got here and saw it with my own eyes, but then I find that what I heard is only half of how incredible it is. Your wisdom and your goodness is way more than what I’d heard described.

The queen of Sheba is using one part of herself, her eyes, to mean all of her in the act of seeing. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [and I saw with my own eyes] or [and I saw in person]

The author is leaving out some of the words that in many languages a sentence would need in order to be complete. You can supply these words from the context if that would be clearer in your language. Alternate translation: [and my eyes saw the splendor of your kingdom] or [and I saw the splendor of your kingdom with my own eyes]

The expression had not been declared is a passive verbal form. If your language would not use that form, you could express the idea in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. Alternate translation: [people had not declared the half to me]

The queen is leaving out some of the words that in many languages a sentence would need in order to be complete. You can supply these words from the context if that would be clearer in your language. Alternate translation: [the half of the extent of your wisdom and prosperity had not been declared to me]

The queen is using added wisdom and goodness to the report as a common expression of her culture to mean that the splendor of Solomon’s kingdom “greatly exceeded the report” or “surpassed what was reported.” If this phrase does not have that meaning in your language, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [Your wisdom and goodness greatly exceed the report that I heard about them]
Note 8 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
וָט֔וֹב

This could mean: (1) Alternate translation: [and prosperity] or (2) Alternate translation: [and virtue]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
