(Some words not found in UHB: and=now request one(fs) I asking from,with,you not you_refuse DOM face_of,my and=she/it_said to=him/it go_on )
Adonijah is using a construction in which a verb and its object come from the same root. You may be able to use the same construction in your language to express the meaning here. Alternatively, your language may have another way of saying this. Alternate translation: [I would like to make one request of you]

אַל־תָּשִׁ֖בִי אֶת־פָּנָ֑י
not (Some words not found in UHB: and=now request one(fs) I asking from,with,you not you_refuse DOM face_of,my and=she/it_said to=him/it go_on )
This is an imperative, but it communicates a polite request rather than a command. Use a form in your language that communicates a polite request. It may be helpful to add an expression such as “please” to make this clear. Alternate translation: [Please do not turn away my face]
Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom
אַל־תָּשִׁ֖בִי אֶת־פָּנָ֑י
not (Some words not found in UHB: and=now request one(fs) I asking from,with,you not you_refuse DOM face_of,my and=she/it_said to=him/it go_on )
Adonijah is using turn away my face as a common expression of his culture to mean “refuse my request.” If this phrase does not have that meaning in your language, here and in verses 17 and 20 you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [Please do not turn me down] or [Please do not refuse my request]

See how you translated the similar expression in [2:14](../02/14.md). Alternate translation: [You may speak]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
