וַיָּבֹא֙ אֶל־הָעֹ֔פֶל & בַּבָּ֑יִת
(Some words not found in UHB: and,he_came to/towards the,hill and=he/it_took from,hand_of,their and,he_deposited_[them] in,house and,he_sent_away DOM the,men and,they_went )
The author assumes that readers will know what hill he means, so he does not specify which hill this was among the many in Samaria. The idea seems to be that Gehazi believed that if he went any farther, Elisha would be able to see him and Naaman’s servants from his house. So this seems to have been a hill that blocked the view from Elisha’s house. If that is the case, then the term house refers to Gehazi’s personal quarters rather than to the house in which Elisha lived. Alternate translation: [to a hill that blocked Elisha’s view … in his own quarters]

See how you translated the similar expression in [5:20](../05/20.md). Alternate translation: [from them]
OET (OET-LV) And_he_came to the_hill and_he/it_took from_hand_of_their and_he_deposited_them in_house and_he_sent_away DOM the_men and_they_went.
OET (OET-RV) When Gehazi reached the hill, he sent the men back and they returned to Na’aman. Then he took the sacks that they’d brought and hid them in the house.
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
