OET (OET-RV) Then Na’aman said, “Well if not, please, at least may we load a pair of mules with some soil to take back with us, because from now on, your servant will no longer make a burnt offering or a sacrifice to other gods—only to Yahweh.

וָלֹ֕א
and,not
Naaman is leaving out some of the words that in many languages a sentence would need in order to be complete. You can supply these words from earlier in the verse if that would be clearer in your language. Alternate translation: [But if you will not take a blessing] or [But if you will not accept a gift]
Note 2 topic: grammar-connect-logic-result
יֻתַּן־נָ֣א לְעַבְדְּךָ֔ מַשָּׂ֥א צֶֽמֶד־פְּרָדִ֖ים אֲדָמָ֑ה כִּ֡י לֽוֹא־יַעֲשֶׂה֩ ע֨וֹד עַבְדְּךָ֜ עֹלָ֤ה וָזֶ֨בַח֙ לֵאלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֔ים כִּ֖י אִם־לַיהוָֽה
(Some words not found in UHB: and=he/it_said Naˊₐmān and,not given now to,servant_of,your load_of pair_of mules soil/ground that/for/because/then/when no he/it_made/did again/more servant_of,your burnt_offering and,sacrifice to,gods other that/for/because/then/when if to/for=YHWH )
If it would be more natural in your language, you could reverse the order of these phrases, since the second phrase gives the reason for the result that the first phrase describes. Alternate translation: [since your servant will no longer make a burnt offering or sacrifice to other gods, but rather to Yahweh, let dirt, the burden of a pair of mules, please be given to your servant]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / activepassive
יֻתַּן־נָ֣א לְעַבְדְּךָ֔ מַשָּׂ֥א צֶֽמֶד־פְּרָדִ֖ים אֲדָמָ֑ה
(Some words not found in UHB: and=he/it_said Naˊₐmān and,not given now to,servant_of,your load_of pair_of mules soil/ground that/for/because/then/when no he/it_made/did again/more servant_of,your burnt_offering and,sacrifice to,gods other that/for/because/then/when if to/for=YHWH )
The expression let dirt, the burden of a pair of mules, please be given contains a passive verbal form. If your language would not use that form, you could express the idea in active form or in another way that would be natural in your language. Alternate translation: [please give dirt, the burden of a pair of mules, to your servant]
Note 4 topic: translate-symaction
יֻתַּן־נָ֣א לְעַבְדְּךָ֔ מַשָּׂ֥א צֶֽמֶד־פְּרָדִ֖ים אֲדָמָ֑ה
(Some words not found in UHB: and=he/it_said Naˊₐmān and,not given now to,servant_of,your load_of pair_of mules soil/ground that/for/because/then/when no he/it_made/did again/more servant_of,your burnt_offering and,sacrifice to,gods other that/for/because/then/when if to/for=YHWH )
Naaman’s request to be given a load of earth was a symbolic action by which he showed that he wanted to worship only Yahweh, not any of the gods of his home country of Aram. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could explain the significance of this action in the text of your translation or in a footnote. Alternate translation: [let dirt, the burden of a pair of mules, please be given to your servant so that I can build an altar to Yahweh on soil from Israel]
OET (OET-LV) And_ Naˊₐmān _he/it_said and_not let_it_be_given please to_servant_of_your the_load_of a_pair_of mules earth if/because not he_will_offer again servant_of_your burnt_offering and_sacrifice to_gods other if/because (if) to/for_YHWH.
OET (OET-RV) Then Na’aman said, “Well if not, please, at least may we load a pair of mules with some soil to take back with us, because from now on, your servant will no longer make a burnt offering or a sacrifice to other gods—only to Yahweh.
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
Acknowledgements: The Hebrew text, lemmas, and morphology are all thanks to the OSHB and some of the glosses are from Macula Hebrew.
