OET (OET-LV) And_he he_went and_he_stood to master(s)_of_his and_he/it_said to_him/it ʼElīshāˊ from_where[fn] Oh_Gēyḩₐzī and_he/it_said not servant_of_your he_has_gone where and_where.

OET (OET-RV) When he went back in to his master, Elisha asked him, “Where did you go, Gehazi?”
¶ “Your servant hasn’t been anywhere,” he replied.
Note 1 topic: writing-pronouns
וְהוּא־בָא֙
and=he went_in
The author is stating the pronoun he separately, even though the verb translated as he came already includes this meaning. He is doing that in order to emphasize a contrast between what Naaman’s servants did, as described in the previous verse (leave without being seen), and what Gehazi did (appear before Elisha). Alternate translation: [But he came openly]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / ellipsis
מאן
from,where?
Elisha is leaving out some of the words that in many languages a sentence would need in order to be complete. You can supply these words from the context if that would be clearer in your language. Alternate translation: [From where have you come]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / 123person
עַבְדְּךָ֖
(Some words not found in UHB: and=he went_in and,he_stood to/towards master(s)_of,his and=he/it_said to=him/it ʼElīshāˊ from,where? Gēyḩₐzī and=he/it_said not gone servant_of,your to_her and,where? )
Gehazi is speaking of himself in the third person as Your servant to show humility. If it would be helpful in your language, you could translate this in a humble form in the first person. Alternate translation: [I, your servant,]
Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom
אָ֥נֶה וָאָֽנָה
to_her and,where?
Gehazi is using here or there as a common expression of his culture to mean “anywhere.” If this phrase does not have that meaning for your readers, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [anywhere]
OET (OET-LV) And_he he_went and_he_stood to master(s)_of_his and_he/it_said to_him/it ʼElīshāˊ from_where[fn] Oh_Gēyḩₐzī and_he/it_said not servant_of_your he_has_gone where and_where.

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
Acknowledgements: The Hebrew text, lemmas, and morphology are all thanks to the OSHB and some of the glosses are from Macula Hebrew.
