OET (OET-LV)And he_is_saying to_me:
Write:
Blessed are the ones to the supper of_the wedding of_the lamb having_been_invited.
And he_is_saying to_me:
These the words true are.
of_ the _god.

OET (OET-RV)Then the messenger told me to write, “Everyone who’s invited to the lamb’s wedding reception is blessed.” And he added, “These are God’s true words.”

uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: writing-pronouns

λέγει

˱he˲_/is/_saying

The pronoun he probably refers to the same angel who began to speak to John in 17:1. It may be helpful to clarify this for your readers. Alternate translation: “The angel who told me he would show me the judgment of the great prostitute said”

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / quotesinquotes

γράψον, μακάριοι οἱ εἰς τὸ δεῖπνον τοῦ γάμου τοῦ Ἀρνίου κεκλημένοι

write blessed_‹are› the_‹ones› to the supper ˱of˲_the wedding ˱of˲_the Lamb /having_been/_invited

If it would be clearer in your language, you could translate this so that there is not a quotation within a quotation. Alternate translation: “Write that the ones having been invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb are blessed”

Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / activepassive

οἱ & κεκλημένοι

the_‹ones› & /having_been/_invited

If your language does not use this passive form, you could express the idea in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. If you need to say who did the action, the context suggests that it was God. Alternate translation: “the ones whom God has called”

Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / metonymy

οὗτοι οἱ λόγοι ἀληθινοὶ εἰσιν τοῦ Θεοῦ

these ¬the words true (Some words not found in SR-GNT: καὶ λέγει μοι γράψον μακάριοι οἱ εἰς τὸ δεῖπνον τοῦ γάμου τοῦ Ἀρνίου κεκλημένοι καὶ λέγει μοι οὗτοι οἱ λόγοι ἀληθινοὶ τοῦ Θεοῦ εἰσιν)

The angel is using the term words to mean the saying that he told John to Write by using words. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: “This is something that God has truly said”

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

19:9 Blessed are those: This fourth blessing in Revelation (see 1:3; 14:13; 16:15) affirms the hope of the faithful.
• who are invited: God is in control and determines who will participate.
• wedding feast (cp. 19:17): Jesus often used meals to explain the Kingdom (Matt 22:1-13; Luke 14:7-24), and he ordained a meal for the church (Mark 14:22-25; 1 Cor 11:23-26).
• These are true words: This oath asserts the reliability of the message.

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Greek words that they’re translated from.
