In this section, Paul said that believers who are strong, as he defined “strong” in 14:1–9, should help believers who are weak (also as in 14:1–9). The strong are to encourage the weak, with the result that all may have hope in God.
Paul prayed that God would help the believers, strong and weak, to live in unity and glorify God.
Paul urged the believers to always welcome one another, because doing that glorifies God. Jesus served the Jews to show that God’s word was true and confirm his promises, which in turn encourages the non-Jews to glorify God for his mercy to them.
Then Paul prayed that God would fill them with joy and peace in their faith, with the result that the Holy Spirit would fill them with hope.
Here are other possible headings for this section:
Carry weak believers, encourage them and accept them
Help believers who are not strong
so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Be of the same mind/thinking in order that you(plur) will praise God with one heart and one voice, who/he is God and Father to our Lord Jesus Christ.
And so, united in spirit and united in the things you say, you will praise and honor God. He is God and heavenly Father of Jesus Christ our Lord.

If you have translated 2 Corinthians 1:3, Ephesians 1:3, or 1 Peter 1:3, you may want to see how you translated this phrase there.
Father: When referring to God as Father, the word indicates that God has a relationship with Jesus like a father to a son.
In some languages a literal translation would not have the correct meaning. If that is true in your language, you may want to explain the meaning in your translation. For example:
heavenly Father

ἵνα

Here, so that introduces a purpose clause. Paul is stating the purpose for the unity that he prayed for in the previous verse. Use a natural way in your language for introducing a purpose clause. Alternate translation (without a comma preceding): [for the purpose that]
ὁμοθυμαδὸν
(Some words not found in SR-GNT: ἵνα ὁμοθυμαδόν ἐν ἑνί στόματι δοξάζητε τόν Θεόν καί Πατέρα τοῦ Κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ)
Alternate translation: [with the same purpose]

with (Some words not found in SR-GNT: ἵνα ὁμοθυμαδόν ἐν ἑνί στόματι δοξάζητε τόν Θεόν καί Πατέρα τοῦ Κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ)
Here, glorify with one mouth refers to being united while praising God aloud. If it would be helpful in your language, you could express the meaning plainly or use a simile. Alternate translation: [you might be united while praising God] or [you might praise God together in unity as if only one mouth were speaking]

Πατέρα

Father is an important title for God.
15:5-6 live in complete harmony: This phrase (see study note on 12:16) refers to the whole orientation of how someone thinks. A mindset of harmony is important for Christian unity (see 12:3-5, 16; Phil 2:2-5).
